I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Master’s Degree in Social Welfare, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2004. I also have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from UCLA.
As a Therapist specializing in women’s issues, I can help you to feel more calm, confident, content and capable in the face of everyday stressors, relationships, work and parenting. My style is warm, patient, collaborative and inviting. I have been described by clients and others as an open and genuine person. I am authentically interested in the experiences of others and motivated by the opportunity to help people heal from the past, make active change in the present, and to find their own strengths, mindfulness, and fulfillment.
Individuals come to me for issues surrounding: anxiety, depression, life transitions, loss, divorce, separation, relationship and dating issues. In my psychotherapy practice, I draw from various techniques and training that includes: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-focused, and Strength-Based approaches. Every client and their needs and goals are unique. Therefore, this is an individually tailored and collaborative process and we will work at your pace, focusing on your priorities.
As a Licensed Therapist, I will bring my training, expertise and results-driven approach. I strive to make my clients feel heard, cared for, valued, safe, and empowered.
